Ichijiku Enema 10g x 4 (category II drug)

**Product Description**
For constipation in babies and children up to 5 years old.
For your child’s constipation when you want immediate relief.

**Precautions for Use**
This product is for pediatric use, but the general precautions established for enemas are listed.
**What Not to Do**
Do not use consecutively. (Regular use may lead to reduced effectiveness (so-called “tolerance”) and may cause reliance on the medication.)

**When to Consult a Doctor**
1. The following individuals should consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller before use:
(1) Individuals undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant. (It is advisable to avoid use due to the risk of miscarriage or premature birth.)
(3) Infants under 1 year of age.
(4) The elderly.
(5) Individuals with the following symptoms:
Severe abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting, hemorrhoidal bleeding.
(6) Individuals diagnosed with the following condition:
Heart disease.
2. If there is no bowel movement after 2-3 uses, discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this document.

**Other Precautions**
The following symptoms may occur:
Dizziness upon standing, a sensation of heat in the anal region, discomfort.

Constipation

**Dosage and Administration**
For children aged 1 to under 6 years: Inject the contents of one container (10g) into the rectum once.
For infants under 1 year of age: Inject approximately half the contents of one container (5g) into the rectum once.
If this does not produce an effect, inject the same amount again.
How to measure approximately half the amount: Gently squeeze the middle of the container with two fingers until your fingertips touch. For hygienic reasons, please discard the remaining liquid.
(When using a second dose, it is more effective to wait for one hour.)
(1) Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration.
(2) After using this product, wait for a short while until the urge to defecate becomes strong. (Attempting to have a bowel movement immediately after use may result in only the medication being expelled, leading to no effect.)
(3) When administering to a child, do so under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(4) For infants and young children in particular, avoid casual use and be careful not to rely too heavily on enemas.
(5) Be careful as forcing the nozzle in may injure the rectal mucosa.
(6) During winter, the container can be warmed in warm water (approx. 40°C) to near body temperature for more comfortable use.
(7) For rectal use only. (Do not take orally.)

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or affect the quality of the product.)
(4) Do not use this product after the expiration date.
