**Product Description**
Rohto Alguard Cool EX is an eye drop with an enhanced, long-lasting cooling sensation, effective for itchy eyes and conjunctival congestion. It was developed with a focus on DDS (Drug Delivery System) technology, which effectively and intensively delivers the medication to the affected area.
It contains an anti-itch ingredient*1, an anti-inflammatory ingredient*2, a decongestant ingredient*3, and Vitamin B6. It is formulated without preservatives (benzalkonium chloride, parabens).
It can be used while wearing hard contact lenses (including oxygen permeable types).
Provides a lasting, clear, and refreshing sensation.
The light purple color of the solution is due to Sodium Azulene Sulfonate Hydrate (water-soluble azulene).

**Precautions for Use**
*Consultation*
1. The following individuals should consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use:
(1) Individuals undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to medications or other substances.
(3) Individuals with the following symptom: severe eye pain.
(4) Individuals diagnosed with the following condition: glaucoma.
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, there is a possibility of adverse reactions. Discontinue use immediately and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this instruction manual.
Skin: Rash/redness, itching
Eyes: Congestion, itching, swelling, stinging pain
3. In the following cases, discontinue use and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this instruction manual:
(1) If blurred vision does not improve.
(2) If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use.

**Indications and Effects**
Itchy eyes, conjunctival congestion, blepharitis (soreness of the eyelids), blurred vision (due to excessive eye discharge, etc.), prevention of eye diseases (after swimming, when dust or sweat enters the eyes, etc.), ophthalmia due to ultraviolet or other light rays (such as snow blindness), eye fatigue, discomfort while wearing hard contact lenses.

**Dosage and Administration**
Instill 1 to 2 drops, 3 to 6 times a day.
(1) Excessive use may cause abnormal glare or lead to increased congestion. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration.
(2) When administering to children, use under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(3) Do not let the tip of the container touch the eyes, eyelids, or eyelashes. (This may cause contamination or the entry of foreign matter, such as eye discharge or dust). Do not use if the solution is cloudy.
(4) Do not use while wearing soft contact lenses.
(5) Use only for instillation into the eyes.

Additives: Boric Acid, Borax, Isotonic Agent, Alginic Acid, l-Menthol, d-Camphor, Peppermint Oil, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 80, pH Adjusting Agent.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store tightly sealed in a cool place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, do not leave in places with high temperatures (40°C or higher), such as inside a car or near a heater.
*The active ingredient, water-soluble azulene, degrades and fades when exposed to light. After use, tighten the cap securely, place it in the provided case, and store away from sunlight and fluorescent lights. The purple color of the water-soluble azulene can be easily washed out with water if it spills on clothing.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or a change in quality).
(4) Do not share with others.
(5) Do not use the product after the expiration date (indicated on the outer box). Even within the expiration date, use as soon as possible after opening.
(6) Depending on storage conditions, crystals of the ingredients may form on the tip of the container or inside the cap. In such cases, wipe gently with a clean gauze before use.
(7) Do not put anything else into the container.
*To ensure the formulation remains in the eye, the solution is designed to become viscous after instillation. Therefore, be aware that vision may be temporarily blurred after use.
