Rohto Alguard Contact a (category III drug)

**Product Description**
Rohto Alguard Contact a is an eye drop effective for itchy eyes and discomfort while wearing contact lenses. It can also be used when not wearing contact lenses.
Contains an anti-itch ingredient*1, an ingredient that retains moisture and protects the cornea*2, and Vitamin B6. Free of preservatives (benzalkonium chloride, parabens).
Can be used while wearing soft contact lenses (excluding colored contact lenses) and hard contact lenses (including oxygen permeable lenses).
Provides a refreshing and cool sensation.

*1 Chlorpheniramine Maleate
*2 Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate

**Precautions for Use**
Consultation
1. The following individuals should consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller before use:
(1) Those undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Those who have experienced allergic symptoms due to medications or other substances.
(3) Those with the following symptom: severe eye pain.
(4) Those with the following diagnosis: glaucoma.
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, there is a possibility of side effects. Immediately discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this instruction manual.
Skin: Rash/redness, itching
Eyes: Redness, itching, swelling, stinging pain
3. In the following cases, discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this instruction manual:
(1) If blurred vision does not improve.
(2) If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use.

**Indications and Effects**
Itchy eyes, eye fatigue, prevention of eye diseases (e.g., after swimming, when dust or sweat enters the eyes), ophthalmia due to ultraviolet or other light rays (e.g., snow blindness), discomfort while wearing soft or hard contact lenses, blurred vision (e.g., when there is excessive eye discharge).

**Dosage and Administration**
Instill 1 to 2 drops, 5 to 6 times a day.
(1) When administering to children, use under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(2) Do not let the tip of the container touch the eye, eyelid, or eyelashes. (This may cause contamination or the entry of foreign matter such as eye discharge or dust).
Also, do not use if the solution is cloudy.
(3) Use for eye instillation only.
(4) Can also be used when not wearing contact lenses.

**Ingredients**
Chlorpheniramine Maleate…0.03%
Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate…0.5%
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride)…0.01%
Additives: Sodium Chloride, Polyoxyethylene Polyoxypropylene Glycol, Polyoxyethylene Hydrogenated Castor Oil, l-Menthol, d-Camphor, Sodium Edetate, Boric Acid, Borax, pH adjuster.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store tightly sealed in a cool place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, do not leave in high-temperature locations (40°C or above), such as inside a car or near a heater.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or a change in quality.)
(4) Do not share with others.
(5) Do not use products past the expiration date (indicated on the outer box). Even within the expiration date, after opening, use within approximately 2-3 months, following the storage and handling precautions.
(6) Depending on storage conditions, crystals of the ingredients may form on the tip of the container or inside the cap. In such cases, gently wipe with a clean gauze before use.
(7) Do not put other substances into the container for use.
