Boraginol A Suppository (category II drug, special)

**Product Description**
For pain, bleeding, swelling, and itching from hemorrhoids
Primarily for internal hemorrhoids

1. Four active ingredients work to provide excellent relief from pain, bleeding, swelling, and itching caused by hemorrhoids.
● Prednisolone Acetate suppresses bleeding, swelling, and itching, while Lidocaine soothes pain and itching.
● Allantoin helps heal wounds and repair tissue, while Vitamin E Acetate improves blood circulation, aiding in the relief of hemorrhoid symptoms.

2. The formulation is designed to act directly on the affected area, using an oleaginous base that melts quickly at body temperature to enhance the onset of effects.
● The low-irritation, easy-to-insert oleaginous base protects the injured affected area and helps facilitate smooth bowel movements.
● It is a white to slightly yellowish-white suppository packaged in an aluminum sheet.

**Precautions for Use**
**Contraindications**
(Failure to follow these instructions may worsen current symptoms or increase the risk of side effects)
1. Do not use this product if you:
(1) Have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.
(2) Have a purulent (pus-forming) affected area.
2. Do not use for a long period of time.

**Consultation**
1. Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
(1) Are currently under medical treatment.
(2) Are pregnant or may be pregnant.
(3) Have ever had allergic reactions to medicines or other substances.

Skin: Rash/redness, itching, swelling
Other: Irritation, suppuration
*In rare cases, the following serious symptoms may occur. In such cases, seek immediate medical attention.
Shock (anaphylaxis): Immediately after use, symptoms such as skin itching, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, throat itching, difficulty breathing, palpitations, and confusion of consciousness may appear.
3. If symptoms do not improve after about 10 days of use, stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this document.

**Indications and Effects**
Relief of pain, bleeding, swelling, and itching associated with hemorrhoids and anal fissures.

**Dosage and Administration**
Remove from wrapper and insert the following amount into the anus.

● Adults (15 years and older)
Single dose: 1 suppository
Frequency: 1 to 2 times a day

● Under 15 years of age
Do not use.

(1) If the suppository is soft, chill it for a while before use. If the surface of the suppository has become too hard due to cold weather or low-temperature storage, warm it with your hands to smooth the surface before use.
(2) For anal use only.
(3) Strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration.

*How to Remove and Insert the Suppository*
1. Tear off one suppository from the aluminum sheet.
2. Hold the top flaps of the aluminum sheet with both hands.
3. Pull them apart to the left and right to remove the suppository.
4. Hold the base of the suppository and, starting with the tip, use your finger to push it fully into the anus.

*Precautions After Insertion*
1. To prevent the suppository from coming out, avoid exercise as much as possible immediately after insertion.
2. You may feel a foreign body sensation after insertion, but this will disappear as the suppository melts.
3. An oily substance may be discharged during bowel movements after insertion; this is the melted oleaginous base and is not a cause for concern.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store this product at 1-30°C.
・As it is designed to melt at body temperature, store in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
・After opening, place the suppositories back in the outer box with the tips pointing down as shown in the diagram, and store upright as indicated by the mark.
(2) Avoid storing at 0°C or below (may cause cracking).
(3) Keep out of reach of children.
(4) Do not transfer to another container (may cause misuse or change in quality).
(5) Do not use after the expiration date.
(6) Be aware that after insertion, the melted suppository may leak and stain clothing, and such stains may be difficult to remove.
