Isodine Gargle C (category III drug)

**Product Description**
Isodine Gargle C is a ready-to-use gargle that does not require dilution. It contains the active ingredient povidone-iodine (PVP-I).
It provides excellent bactericidal and disinfectant effects for the mouth and throat.

● Formulated with l-menthol (additive) as a cooling agent and a fragrance (additive) to enhance the refreshing sensation.
● This gargle provides a clean, refreshing sensation in the mouth and throat.

**Precautions for Use**
**Contraindications**
(Failure to follow these instructions may result in worsening of current symptoms or an increased risk of side effects)
Do not use this product if you:
Have ever experienced allergic symptoms to this product or any of its ingredients.

**Consultation**
1. The following individuals should consult a physician, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use:
(1) Individuals who have experienced allergic symptoms to medications or other substances.
(2) Individuals with severe sores in the mouth.
(3) Individuals diagnosed with thyroid dysfunction.
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, there is a possibility of side effects. Immediately discontinue use and consult a physician, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this container.
Skin: Rash/redness, itching
Mouth: Soreness, stinging, burning sensation, irritation
Digestive system: Nausea
Other: Discomfort
*In rare cases, the following serious symptoms may occur. In such cases, seek immediate medical attention.
Shock (anaphylaxis): Immediately after use, symptoms such as itchy skin, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, itchy throat, difficulty breathing, palpitations, and confusion may appear.
3. If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a physician, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this container.

**Indications and Effects**
Sterilization, disinfection, and cleaning of the oral cavity and throat, and removal of bad breath.

**Dosage and Administration**
Without diluting, take an appropriate amount (approx. 15-20 ml) into the mouth and gargle 2-3 times. Repeat this several times a day.
● Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration.
● When administering to children, use under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
● This product is for gargling only. Do not use on cuts or burns, and do not ingest.
● Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, immediately rinse with water or lukewarm water. If symptoms are severe, consult an ophthalmologist.

**Ingredients**
Per 1 ml:
Povidone-iodine…3.5 mg (equivalent to 0.35 mg of available iodine)
Additives: Ethanol, glycerin, l-menthol, sodium saccharin, pH adjuster, fragrance, and one other ingredient.
Use of this product may cause discoloration of silver-containing dental materials (such as dentures).

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or a change in quality.)
(4) Be aware that the product will stain if it comes into contact with clothing. If it does, wash it off immediately with water.
(5) Do not use the product after the expiration date.
