Isodine Ointment (category III drug)

**Product Description**
Isodine Ointment is a topical antiseptic disinfectant in ointment form containing the active ingredient povidone-iodine (PVP-I).
It is highly effective for the disinfection and sterilization of affected areas such as cuts, scrapes, and burns.

Persons who have experienced allergic symptoms due to this product or its ingredients.

**Consultation**
1. The following persons should consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller before use:
(1) Persons undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Persons who have experienced allergic symptoms due to medications or other substances.
(3) Persons with a large affected area.
(4) Persons with deep wounds or severe burns.
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, there is a possibility of side effects. Discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this document.
Skin: Rash/redness, itching
*In rare cases, the following serious symptoms may occur. In such cases, seek immediate medical attention.
Shock (anaphylaxis): Immediately after use, symptoms such as skin itching, hives, hoarseness of voice, sneezing, throat itching, difficulty breathing, palpitations, and clouding of consciousness may appear.
3. If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this document.

**Indications and Effects**
Disinfection and sterilization of affected areas such as cuts, puncture wounds, scrapes, blisters from shoes, and burns.

**Dosage and Administration**
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area several times a day.
● Strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration.
● When used on children, it should be administered under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
● This product is for external use only. Do not ingest, use as a gargle, or for disinfection of mucous membranes.
● Be careful not to get it in your eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water. If symptoms are severe, consult an ophthalmologist.

**Ingredients**
In 1g:
Povidone-iodine… 100mg (equivalent to 10mg of available iodine)
Additives: Macrogol, pH adjuster

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap tightly sealed.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or a change in quality.)
(4) Be aware that it will stain clothing if it comes into contact. If it does, wash it off immediately and thoroughly with water.
(5) Do not use the product after the expiration date.
