**Product Description**
Kakkonto for the initial stages of a cold accompanied by chills.

● “Kakkonto” is a Kampo medicine formulation listed in the classical Chinese medical texts “Treatise on Cold Damage Disorders” (Shokanron) and “Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber” (Kinki Yoryaku). It is effective for colds, stiff shoulders, and other conditions.
● It is effective for symptoms at the onset of a cold, such as fever, shivering, and persistent chills.

**Precautions for Use**

(1) Individuals undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant.

Swelling, difficulty urinating.

Skin: Rash, redness, itching
Digestive system: Nausea, loss of appetite, stomach discomfort
*In rare cases, the following serious symptoms may occur. In such cases, seek immediate medical attention.
Pseudoaldosteronism, myopathy: In addition to listlessness, numbness, tightness, and stiffness in the limbs, weakness and muscle pain appear and gradually worsen.
Liver dysfunction: Fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes), brown urine, general malaise, loss of appetite, etc., may appear.

**Indications and Effects**
For the following conditions in individuals with moderate or greater physical strength: Initial stage of a common cold (without sweating), nasal cold, rhinitis, headache, stiff shoulders, muscle pain, pain in the hands and shoulders.

**Dosage and Administration**
Take the following amount with water or lukewarm water three times a day before or between meals.

●Adults (15 years and older)
Single dose: 1 packet
Doses per day: 3 times

●7 to under 15 years old
Single dose: 2/3 packet
Doses per day: 3 times

●4 to under 7 years old
Single dose: 1/2 packet
Doses per day: 3 times

●Under 4 years old
Do not take.
When administering to children, do so under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.

Additives: Hydroxypropyl cellulose, Lactose, Polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene glycol
As this product uses extracts from natural crude drugs (shoyaku), the color of the granules may vary slightly.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or affect the quality.)
(4) Do not take the product after the expiration date.
(5) If you only use part of a packet, fold the opening to seal it and use the remainder within two days. Do not take any remainder that has been stored for longer than two days.
