**Product Description**
For colds and nasal colds (for those with chills and joint pain).

● “Maoto” is a Kampo formula listed in the “Shanghan Lun” (Treatise on Cold Damage), a classic Chinese medical text.
It has long been used for the initial symptoms of a cold.
● It is effective for the common cold and nasal cold at the onset of symptoms, characterized by chills, fever, headache, and aching joints.

**Precautions for Use**
● **Contraindications**
(Failure to follow these instructions may worsen current symptoms or increase the risk of side effects.)
1. The following persons should not take this product:
(1) Persons with a weak constitution (those with declining physical strength, frail individuals).
(2) Infants under 3 months of age.
2. Limit use to a short period and do not take continuously.

● **Consultation**
1. The following persons should consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before taking this product:
(1) Persons undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant.
(3) Persons with a weak gastrointestinal tract.
(4) Persons with a significant tendency to sweat.
(5) The elderly.
(6) Persons who have previously experienced rashes, redness, itching, etc., due to medications.
(7) Persons with the following symptoms:
Swelling, difficulty urinating.
(8) Persons with the following diagnoses:
High blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, thyroid dysfunction.
2. If the following symptoms appear after taking this product, there is a possibility of side effects. Immediately stop taking this product and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this document.
Skin: Rash, redness, itching.
Digestive system: Nausea, loss of appetite, stomach discomfort.
Other: Excessive sweating, general malaise.
*In rare cases, the following serious symptoms may occur. In such cases, seek immediate medical attention.
Pseudoaldosteronism, myopathy: In addition to listlessness, numbness, and a feeling of tightness or stiffness in the limbs, weakness and muscle pain appear and gradually worsen.
3. If symptoms do not improve after taking this product for about one month (or after 5-6 doses for a common cold or nasal cold), stop taking it and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this document.

**Indications and Effects**
For the following conditions in individuals with a robust constitution who are at the onset of a cold with chills, fever, headache, coughing, aching joints, and no sweating: common cold, nasal cold, bronchitis, nasal congestion.

**Dosage and Administration**
Take the following amount with water or lukewarm water 3 times a day before or between meals.

● Adults (15 years and older)
Single dose: 1 packet
Doses per day: 3 times

● 7 to under 15 years of age
Single dose: 2/3 packet
Doses per day: 3 times

● 4 to under 7 years of age
Single dose: 1/2 packet
Doses per day: 3 times

● 2 to under 4 years of age
Single dose: 1/3 packet
Doses per day: 3 times

● Under 2 years of age
Single dose: 1/4 packet
Doses per day: 3 times
(1) When administering to children, do so under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(2) For infants under 1 year of age, prioritize seeing a doctor and administer this product only when unavoidable.

**Ingredients**
Per 3 packets (1.5g):
Maoto Extract (3/4 dose)… 1200mg (Extracted from 3.75g each of Ephedra Herb and Apricot Kernel, 3.0g of Cinnamon Bark, and 1.125g of Glycyrrhiza.)
Additives: Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Lactose, Polyoxyethylene Polyoxypropylene Glycol.
As this product uses extracts from natural crude drugs, the color of the granules may vary slightly.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may lead to misuse or affect the quality.)
(4) Do not use after the expiration date.
(5) If you take a partial packet, fold the opening of the packet to store the remainder, and do not consume it if more than 2 days have passed.
