**Product Description**
For painful and distressing canker sores (aphthous stomatitis)
This ointment adheres to the affected area for a sustained effect.
● For the inside of the cheeks, tongue, and back of the lips
● Contains the anti-inflammatory ingredient Triamcinolone Acetonide
**Precautions for Use**
**Contraindications**
(Failure to follow these instructions may worsen current symptoms or increase the risk of side effects.)
Do not use this product if you:
(1) Suspect you have an infectious canker sore (consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered seller).
・Have white patches that can be easily wiped off with gauze spread throughout the oral cavity (suspected candidal infection).
・Have yellow pus in the affected area (suspected bacterial infection).
・Have multiple small blisters (the size of a grain of rice to an adzuki bean) in the oral cavity, or have blisters or rashes on the lips or skin outside the oral mucosa (suspected viral infection).
・Experience systemic symptoms such as fever, loss of appetite, general malaise, or swollen lymph nodes (suspected viral infection).
(2) Have an infection in the oral cavity (as there are reports that steroid use can worsen infections, do not use on areas with oral infections such as alveolar pyorrhea or gingivitis).
(3) See no improvement in symptoms after 5 days of use.
(4) Experience worsening of symptoms after 1-2 days of use.
**Consultation**
1. The following individuals should consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered seller before use:
(1) Those currently under the care of a doctor or dentist.
(2) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant.
(3) Breastfeeding mothers.
(4) The elderly.
(5) Individuals who have had allergic reactions to medications or other substances.
(6) Individuals with a large affected area.
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, they may be side effects. Immediately stop using the product and consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered seller with this document.
In the oral cavity: White patches (suspected candidal infection), yellow pus in the affected area (suspected bacterial infection), abnormal taste, numbness.
Other: Allergic symptoms (rash/redness, itching, bronchial asthma attacks, edema, etc.).
3. If the following symptoms appear after use, it may indicate a canker sore caused by an infection or another disease. Stop using the product and consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered seller with this document.
Fever, loss of appetite, general malaise, swollen lymph nodes, blisters (outside the oral cavity), rash/redness, itching, spreading of the affected area within the oral cavity, eye pain, blurred vision, genital ulcers.
**Indications and Effects**
Canker sores (aphthous stomatitis)
“Canker sores (aphthous stomatitis)” targeted by this product is a general term for inflammation characterized by one or several small, shallow, painful, whitish, circular ulcers (less than 10mm in diameter) with a reddish periphery and a shallowly depressed center, which form on the inside of the cheeks, tongue, or back of the lips.
**Dosage and Administration**
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once to several times a day.
(1) Strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration.
(2) When used by children, it should be administered under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(3) This product is for oral use only. Do not use it for any other purpose.
(4) Discontinue use once the pain has subsided.
(5) Avoid eating or drinking for a while after application.
(6) Do not use for purposes other than treatment, such as for denture adhesion.
**Ingredients**
In 100g:
Triamcinolone Acetonide…100mg
Additives: Carmellose Sodium, Xylitol, Pullulan, Gelled Hydrocarbon
**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap tightly sealed.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container (it may cause misuse or affect the quality).
(4) Do not use the product after the expiration date. Even within the expiration date, use it as soon as possible after opening to maintain quality.
(5) After use, wipe any ointment off the tube’s opening and surrounding area, then close the cap tightly for storage (adhering ointment may harden).
