Stomatitis Ointment Taisho A (category III drug)

**Product Description**
For stomatitis and angular cheilitis.

● Konaien Ointment Taisho A is an ointment developed for the treatment of stomatitis, angular cheilitis, and similar conditions. It adheres well to the affected area, covering it for an extended period even within the oral cavity, to provide firm protection from the tongue, teeth, and food.
● This product is steroid-free.

Do not use on the following areas:
Severely ulcerated affected areas.

● **When to Consult a Professional**
1. The following individuals should consult a physician, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use:
(1) Individuals undergoing treatment by a physician or dentist.
(2) Infants and young children.
(3) Individuals who have had allergic reactions to medications or other substances.
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, there is a possibility of side effects. Discontinue use immediately and consult a physician, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this instruction leaflet.
Skin/Oral cavity: Rash/redness, itching
3. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a physician, dentist, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this instruction leaflet.

**Indications and Effects**
Stomatitis, glossitis, chapped lips, sore lips, cheilitis, angular cheilitis.

**Dosage and Administration**
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 2 to 4 times a day.
(1) Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration.
(2) Do not use on the affected area or its surroundings if they are dirty.
(3) Be careful not to get it in your eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water and seek immediate medical attention from an ophthalmologist.
(4) When used by children, it should be administered under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(5) Use only in the oral cavity or on the lips.
(6) Avoid concurrent use with other topical medications on the same area.

Additives: Xylitol, Carboxyvinyl Polymer, Hypromellose, Gelled Hydrocarbon, Fragrance, l-Menthol

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (May cause misuse or affect quality).
(4) Do not use after the expiration date. Even within the expiration date, use as soon as possible after opening to maintain quality.
