Terramycin Ointment A (category II drug)

**Product Description**
Two antibiotics effective against suppurative conditions.

This product combines two antibiotics: Polymyxin B Sulfate, which is effective against gram-negative bacilli (especially *Pseudomonas aeruginosa*), and Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride, which exhibits a broad antibacterial spectrum against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

(Failure to follow these instructions may result in worsening of current symptoms or an increased risk of side effects.)
1. Do not use this product if you:
(1) Have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.
(2) Have ever had an allergic reaction to antibiotics.
2. Do not use on the following areas:
(1) Severely moist or ulcerated affected areas.
(2) Deep wounds or severe burns.
(3) The eyes or the area around the eyes.
3. Do not use for a long period of time.

● **When to consult a doctor**
1. Consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use if you:
(1) Are currently under medical treatment.
(2) Have ever had allergic reactions to medications or other substances.
(3) Have a large affected area.
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, they may be side effects. Discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this document.
Skin: Rash/eruption, redness, itching
3. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this document.

**Indications and Effects**
Suppurative skin diseases (impetigo, furuncles, folliculitis).

**Dosage and Administration**
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once to several times a day, or spread on gauze and apply.
(1) Strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration.
(2) When used on children, it should be administered under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(3) Be careful not to get it in your eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water. If symptoms are severe, seek medical attention from an ophthalmologist.
(4) For external use only.

**Ingredients**
In 1g:
Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride…30mg (potency)
Polymyxin B Sulfate…10,000 units
Additives: White Petrolatum (contains BHT as an antioxidant), Liquid Paraffin

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap tightly sealed.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or affect the quality of the product.)
(4) Do not use the product after the expiration date (indicated on the outer box and tube).
(5) This product is a yellow ointment, so be careful not to get it on clothing.
