Voltaren EX Tape (category II drug)

**Product Description**
* An analgesic and anti-inflammatory patch formulated with the active ingredient diclofenac sodium, which has excellent transdermal absorption.
* The active ingredient is gradually released, providing excellent long-lasting effects. A single daily application provides relief for 24 hours.
* The active ingredient does not evaporate, allowing it to target and act directly on the source of pain.
* The patch is easy to apply, reapply, and stretches both vertically and horizontally.
* Provides a pleasant and gradual cooling sensation that spreads from the application site.

**Precautions for Use**
**Contraindications**
(Failure to follow these instructions may worsen current symptoms or increase the risk of side effects.)
1. Do not use this product if you:
(1) Have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients.
(2) Have ever had an asthma attack.
(3) Are pregnant or may be pregnant.
(4) Are a child under 15 years of age.
2. Do not apply to the following areas:
(1) Around the eyes, mucous membranes, etc.
(2) Areas with eczema, rashes, or open wounds.
(3) Areas affected by athlete’s foot, ringworm, etc., or areas that are purulent.
3. While using this product, do not use other topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory medications.
4. Do not use continuously for more than 2 weeks.

**Consultation**
1. The following individuals should consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller before use:
(1) Those undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Those using other medications.
(3) Those who have had allergic reactions to medications or other substances.
(4) Those who have experienced rashes or other reactions from patches.
(5) Those who have been diagnosed with the following conditions:
Peptic ulcer, blood disorders, liver disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, heart disease, influenza.
(6) Those being treated with the following medications:
New quinolone antibacterials, triamterene, lithium, methotrexate, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, such as aspirin), steroids, diuretics, cyclosporine, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
(7) The elderly.
2. If the following symptoms appear during or after use, they may be side effects. Immediately discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this outer box.
Skin: Rash/redness, itching, irritation, swelling, pain, stinging sensation, feeling of heat, skin roughness, desquamation (peeling of the skin, like dandruff or scales), blisters, pigmentation.
*In rare cases, the following serious symptoms may occur. If they do, seek immediate medical attention.
Shock (anaphylaxis): Immediately after use, symptoms such as skin itching, hives, hoarseness of voice, sneezing, throat itching, difficulty breathing, palpitations, and confusion may appear.
Contact dermatitis, photosensitivity: Severe skin inflammation symptoms such as rash/redness with intense itching, swelling, irritation, blisters, or sores, as well as pigmentation and white patches, may appear at the application site. In some cases, symptoms like rash/redness and itching may spread throughout the body. Symptoms may also appear or worsen in areas exposed to sunlight.
3. If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this outer box.

**Indications and Effects**
Lower back pain, shoulder pain associated with stiff shoulders, joint pain, muscle pain, tenosynovitis (hand/wrist pain), elbow pain (e.g., tennis elbow), bruises, sprains.

**Dosage and Administration**
Peel off the plastic film and apply one to two patches to the affected area once a day. However, do not use more than two patches per application. Additionally, do not use in combination with other topical products containing this active ingredient.
(1) Strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration.
(2) Do not leave a patch on for more than 24 hours. When applying a new patch to the same area, ensure that no rash, redness, itching, or irritation has occurred at the application site.
(3) This product treats the symptoms of pain and swelling, not the underlying disease causing them. Use only when symptoms are present.
(4) If you are sweating or the affected area is wet, wipe it thoroughly before applying the patch.
(5) If you have sensitive skin, before use, apply a small piece (1-2 cm square) to a sensitive area on the inside of your arm for at least half a day to ensure that no symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, or irritation occur.
(6) Do not use other topical medications on the application site.

**Ingredients**
[Per patch (7cm x 10cm), plaster mass 1.5g]
Diclofenac sodium…15mg
[Per 100g of plaster mass]
Diclofenac sodium…1g
Additives: Alicyclic saturated hydrocarbon resin, styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, liquid paraffin, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, dibutylhydroxytoluene, l-menthol, and two other ingredients.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or affect product quality.)
(4) To maintain quality, place any unused patches back in the original pouch, and seal the opening tightly before storing.
(5) Do not use this product after the expiration date. Even if within the expiration date, use as soon as possible after opening.
