**Product Description**
Kampo preparation (Bofutsushosan Extract Tablets)

● Bofutsushosan is a traditional Kampo formula described in the “Xuanming Lun,” a classical Chinese medical text.
● It is intended for individuals with a robust constitution, abundant subcutaneous fat in the abdominal area, obesity, and a tendency for constipation.
● It is effective for symptoms associated with high blood pressure and obesity, such as palpitations, stiff shoulders, hot flashes, constipation, and edema.

**Precautions for Use**
● **Contraindications**

1. Do not take the following medications while taking this product:
Other purgatives (laxatives)
2. Do not take this product if you are breastfeeding, or avoid breastfeeding if you take this product.

● **Consultation**
1. The following individuals should consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller before taking this product:
(1) Individuals undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant.
(3) Individuals with a weak constitution (those with declining physical strength, frail individuals).
(4) Individuals with a weak gastrointestinal tract and a tendency for diarrhea.
(5) Individuals with a significant tendency to sweat.
(6) The elderly.
(7) Individuals who have previously experienced rash, redness, itching, etc., due to medications.
(8) Individuals with the following symptoms:
Edema, difficulty urinating
(9) Individuals with the following diagnoses:
High blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, thyroid dysfunction

Skin: Rash/redness, itching
Gastrointestinal: Nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, abdominal bloating, severe abdominal pain with diarrhea, abdominal pain
Neuropsychiatric: Dizziness
Other: Sweating, palpitations, edema, headache
*In rare cases, the following serious symptoms may occur. In such cases, seek immediate medical attention.
Interstitial pneumonia: Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing when climbing stairs or with slight overexertion, dry cough, fever, etc., which may appear suddenly or persist.
Pseudoaldosteronism, myopathy: Lassitude, numbness, tightness and stiffness in the limbs, in addition to weakness and muscle pain, which gradually worsen.
Liver dysfunction: Fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes), brown urine, general malaise, loss of appetite, etc., may appear.
Mesenteric venous sclerosis: With long-term use, symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal bloating may appear repeatedly.
3. After taking this product, the following symptoms may appear. If such symptoms persist or worsen, stop taking the product and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller with this document.
Diarrhea, constipation
4. If symptoms do not improve after taking this product for about one month (or about one week if taken for constipation), stop taking it and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller with this document.
5. For long-term continuous use, consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller.

**Indications and Effects**
For the following conditions in individuals with a robust constitution, abundant subcutaneous fat in the abdominal area, and a tendency for constipation: palpitations, stiff shoulders, hot flashes, edema, and constipation associated with high blood pressure and obesity; empyema (sinusitis); eczema/dermatitis; pimples (acne); obesity.

**Dosage and Administration**
Adults (15 years and older): 4 tablets per dose.
Take 3 times a day before or between meals with water or lukewarm water.
*Do not use in individuals under 15 years of age.
*”Between meals” refers to 2-3 hours after a meal.

JP Bofutsushosan Extract… 5000mg (Dried extract prepared from: JP Platycodon Root 2g, JP Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome 2g, JP Glycyrrhiza 2g, JP Scutellaria Root 2g, JP Gypsum 2g, JP Rhubarb 1.5g, JP Japanese Angelica Root 1.2g, JP Peony Root 1.2g, JP Cnidium Rhizome 1.2g, JP Gardenia Fruit 1.2g, JP Forsythia Fruit 1.2g, JP Mint 1.2g, JP Schizonepeta Spike 1.2g, JP Saposhnikovia Root 1.2g, JP Ephedra Herb 1.2g, JP Ginger 0.4g, JP Talc 3g, JP Sodium Sulfate 1.5g)
Additives: Potato starch, magnesium aluminometasilicate, magnesium stearate
As this product uses an extract from natural crude drugs, the color tone of the tablets may vary slightly.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap tightly sealed.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or affect the quality.)
(4) Do not handle with wet hands. After removing tablets from the bottle, immediately replace the inner plug and tighten the cap securely for storage. (Moisture can cause the tablets to change color or shape.)
(5) The filling inside the bottle is for preventing damage during transportation; discard it after opening. (Placing the filling back into the bottle may cause it to absorb moisture and affect the quality.)
(6) Do not take the product after the expiration date.
