Betnevate N Ointment (category II drug, special)

**Product Description**
A treatment for eczema and dermatitis accompanied by suppuration.

● Betamethasone valerate (a steroid component) is highly effective against skin inflammation such as eczema and rashes.
● Contains the antibiotic fradiomycin sulfate, which has antibacterial properties.
● As it is an oil-based formula that protects the affected area, it is suitable for oozing or weeping affected areas.

**Precautions for Use**
**Contraindications**
(Failure to follow these instructions may result in worsening of current symptoms or an increased risk of side effects)
1. The following persons should not use this product:
Persons who have experienced allergic symptoms due to this product, its ingredients, or antibiotics.
2. Do not use on the following areas:
(1) Chickenpox, athlete’s foot, ringworm, etc.
(2) Around the eyes, mucous membranes, etc.
3. Do not use over a wide area of the face.
4. Do not use for an extended period.

**Consultation**
1. The following persons should consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson before use:
(1) Persons undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Persons who are pregnant or may be pregnant.
(3) Persons who have had allergic reactions to drugs or other substances.
(4) Persons with a large affected area.
(5) Persons with severe weeping or sores.
(6) Persons with deep wounds or severe burns.
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, there is a possibility of side effects. Immediately discontinue use and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this document.
Skin: Rash/redness, itching, swelling, blisters.
Skin (affected area): Tinea infections such as athlete’s foot and ringworm, acne, purulent symptoms, persistent irritation.
3. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson with this document.

**Indications and Effects**
The following conditions accompanied by suppuration: eczema, dermatitis, heat rash, rash, chilblains, insect bites, hives.
Suppurative skin diseases (impetigo, furuncles, folliculitis).
Do not use this product for symptoms other than those listed in the Indications and Effects.

**Dosage and Administration**
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once to several times a day.
(1) Strictly follow the directions for use.
(2) When used by children, it should be administered under the guidance and supervision of a parent or guardian.
(3) Be careful not to get it in your eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water. If symptoms are severe, seek medical attention from an ophthalmologist.
(4) For external use only.
(5) Do not cover the application site with plastic wrap or other materials with poor air permeability.
(6) Do not use under makeup or after shaving.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store tightly sealed in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (It may cause misuse or a change in quality).
(4) Do not use products that have passed their expiration date.
