Kuromai-P Ointment AS (category II drug, special)

**Product Description**
For eczema and dermatitis accompanied by suppuration.

● Contains two antibiotics, chloramphenicol and fradiomycin sulfate, to treat suppurated affected areas.
● Prednisolone (a steroid component) provides excellent efficacy against inflammation such as eczema and dermatitis.
● It is an oil-based ointment that protects the affected area, making it suitable for use on both dry, flaky areas and oozing, weeping areas.

**Precautions for Use**
**Contraindications**
(Failure to follow these instructions may result in worsening of current symptoms or an increased risk of side effects.)
1. Do not use this product if you:
have previously experienced allergic symptoms to this product, its ingredients, or antibiotics.
2. Do not use on the following areas:
(1) Chickenpox, athlete’s foot, ringworm, etc.
(2) Eyes or the area around the eyes.
3. Do not use over a large area of the face.
4. Do not use for a prolonged period.

**Consultation**
1. The following individuals should consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller before use:
(1) Individuals undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant.
(3) Individuals who have previously experienced allergic symptoms to medications or other substances.
(4) Individuals with a large affected area.
(5) Individuals with severe weeping or sores.
(6) Individuals with deep wounds or severe burns.
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, they may be side effects. Discontinue use immediately and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller with this document.
Skin: Rash/redness, itching, swelling, blisters
Skin (affected area): Tinea infections such as athlete’s foot and ringworm, acne, suppurative symptoms, persistent irritation.
3. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, discontinue use and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller with this document.

**Indications and Effects**
● The following conditions accompanied by suppuration: eczema, dermatitis, heat rash, contact dermatitis, chilblains, insect bites, hives.
● Suppurative skin diseases (impetigo, furuncles, folliculitis).

**Dosage and Administration**
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once to several times a day.
(1) Strictly follow the prescribed usage instructions.
(2) When used on children, it should be administered under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(3) Be careful not to get it in your eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water. If symptoms are severe, consult an ophthalmologist.
(4) For external use only.
(5) Do not use as a makeup base or after shaving.

**Ingredients**
In 100g:
Chloramphenicol… 2g (potency)
Fradiomycin Sulfate… 0.5g (potency)
Prednisolone… 0.3g
Additives: Gelled Hydrocarbon

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or affect the quality of the product.)
(4) Do not use the product after the expiration date shown on the package.
