Rohto Antibacterial Eye Drops i (category II drug)

**Product Description**
For the treatment of styes and conjunctivitis. Single-use type.

A fresh, single-use type that is gentle on eyes sensitized by styes or conjunctivitis. The formula is non-stinging. The antibacterial sulfa agent is effective against bacterial infections, while the dual anti-inflammatory ingredients work effectively against inflammation, including severe pain and swelling. Also suitable for small children* from 1 year of age.

**Precautions for Use**
**Contraindications**
(Failure to follow these instructions may result in worsening of current symptoms or an increased risk of side effects.)
1. The following individuals should not use this product:
Individuals who have experienced allergic symptoms to this drug or its ingredients.
2. Do not use for an extended period.

**Consultation**
1. The following individuals should consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller before use:
(1) Individuals undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Individuals who have had allergic reactions to medications or other substances.
(3) Individuals with the following symptoms:
Severe eye pain
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, there is a possibility of side effects. Discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this instruction leaflet.
Skin: Rash/redness, itching
Eyes: Redness, itching, swelling, stinging pain
*The following serious symptoms may rarely occur. In such cases, seek immediate medical attention.
Shock (anaphylaxis): Immediately after use, symptoms such as skin itching, hives, hoarseness of voice, sneezing, throat itching, difficulty breathing, palpitations, and clouding of consciousness may appear.
3. If symptoms do not improve after 3-4 days of use, discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this instruction leaflet.

**Indications and Effects**
Stye, conjunctivitis (pink eye), itchy eyes, blepharitis (soreness of the eyelids).

**Dosage and Administration**
Instill 2-3 drops into the eye, 5-6 times a day.
(1) When administering to children, use under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(2) Do not let the tip of the container touch the eye, eyelid, or eyelashes. [This may cause injury to the eye or contamination with foreign substances (eye discharge, dust, etc.)]. Also, do not use if the solution is cloudy.
(3) Do not use while wearing soft contact lenses.
(4) Use only for ophthalmic purposes.

Sulfamethoxazole Sodium…4%
Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate…0.15%
Epsilon-Aminocaproic Acid…1%
Additives: Boric Acid, Borax, Alginic Acid, Hypromellose, Polyoxyethylene Polyoxypropylene Glycol, Polysorbate 80, Sodium Edetate, pH adjuster.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store this product in its outer box in a cool place away from direct sunlight or fluorescent lights. To maintain quality, avoid excessively high temperatures (such as inside a car or near a heater) and excessively low temperatures (such as inside a refrigerator), and store in a cool place as much as possible.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (This may cause misuse or affect the quality.)
(4) Do not share with others.
(5) Do not use after the expiration date (indicated on the outer box). After opening, use promptly.
(6) This product is a “single-use type” eye drop. The container is slightly overfilled to make it easier to dispense the solution, but once opened, any remaining liquid must be discarded.
(7) Be aware that the cap may open if the product is carried in a back pocket of trousers, etc.
*You may experience a bitter taste in your mouth after application. This is due to the solution flowing through the tear ducts and is harmless.
