Wakan-sen Kiaguard (category II drug)

**Product Description**
Effective for headaches caused by changes in weather (barometric pressure).

Do you experience headaches during gloomy, overcast weather before it rains (when barometric pressure changes)? It is said that due to factors such as changes in barometric pressure, blood vessels in the brain can dilate, or edema (swelling) can occur in tissues, putting pressure on nerves and causing headaches.
Kiaguard is a Kampo medicine that suppresses headache symptoms caused by changes in barometric pressure through the action of its Goreisan formula (full prescription*). When you feel a headache coming on, such as when the barometric pressure starts to drop, do not endure it; take action early.
It comes in convenient individual packets, with each packet containing one adult (15 years and older) dose (4 tablets).

*A full prescription refers to a formula where the extract is obtained from the full amount (maximum amount) of crude drugs specified for Goreisan in the Japanese Pharmacopoeia.

**Precautions for Use**
*Consultation*
1. The following persons should consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller before taking this product.
(1) Persons undergoing medical treatment.
(2) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant.
(3) Persons who have ever experienced rash/redness, itching, etc., due to medications.
2. If the following symptoms appear after taking this product, they may be side effects. Immediately stop taking this product and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller with this outer box.
Skin: Rash/redness, itching
3. If symptoms do not improve after taking this product for about one month (or for 5-6 doses for acute gastroenteritis or hangovers, or for 5-6 days for watery diarrhea or heatstroke), stop taking it and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller with this outer box.

**Indications and Effects**
For the following conditions, regardless of physical strength, in persons with thirst and low urine output, accompanied by any of the following: dizziness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, or edema: watery diarrhea, acute gastroenteritis (do not use for tenesmus*), heatstroke, headache, edema, hangover.

*Tenesmus refers to a feeling of incomplete evacuation and a recurrent urge to defecate accompanied by abdominal pain.

**Dosage and Administration**
Take the following amount with water or hot water three times a day before or between meals.
*Between meals refers to 2-3 hours after a meal.

● Adults (15 years and older)
Single dose: 4 tablets

● Children (5 to under 15 years)
Single dose: 2 tablets

● Children under 5 years
Do not take.
(1) Strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration.
(2) When administering to children, do so under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.

Additives: Carmellose Calcium, Croscarmellose Sodium, Hydrated Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Talc, Crystalline Cellulose
As this product uses an extract from natural substances (crude drugs), the color of the tablets may vary slightly.

**Storage and Handling Precautions**
(1) Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. (May cause misuse or affect quality.)
(4) Do not take products past their expiration date. Even within the expiration date, use as soon as possible after opening.
(5) If you take a partial dose from a packet, fold the opening of the packet to seal it, and use the remaining medication within 2 days or discard it.
(6) Do not handle with wet hands, as moisture may affect the quality, causing discoloration or other changes.
